I grew up hearing this story at home and school. I have read this book to my children for the same important lesson that I grew up hearing. We should always tell the truth and to not lie for entertainment.
I would use this book as a class discussion to help encourage the children to take responsibility for their actions. I would ask the children how they would feel in the town people’s place when the young boy cried wolf.
