1. Main character
Tim Duncan is different from many NBA players. When he was young, he dreamed of bocoming an Olympic swimmer like his sister Tricia. However, Hurricane Hugo destroyed his team's pool in 1989. When swim plactice moved to the ocean, Tims's fear of sharks kept him from attending.
Tim was taught some basic skills of basketball by his brother. People began to notice his quick feet and natural ability.
Tim Duncan, now 7 feet(2 m) tall, was chosen first overall in the 1997 draftby the San Antonio Spurs.

2. Write the summary of the book.

"Most U.S. colleges, however, were not interested in this unknown Canadian player. Then Santa Clara University coach Dick Davery saw Steve play and he saw a future star....Coach Davey was not disappointed(See p 27).

Although he was not so much famous when he was young, but he was named 2005 NBA MVP!
