Junglewalk was a picture book that I really liked. I usually do not prefer wordless picture books but this one had complex illustrations and an interesting plot. The plot of the story was told solely through images but it was not confusing at all; a boy went to sleep with his cat and dreamt of the cat transforming into a tiger and exploring the jungle together. The story told through the pictures was well-paced and simple which made it a very enjoyable read. My favorite part of the story was definitely the illustrations. Since the illustrations told the entire story, they were complex and very well-done. I loved looking at the images of all of the different jungle animals and the boy exploring. The message was a little hard to understand since there were no words but I think the big idea was just that imagination and dreams can lead you a long way. This wordless story would be a very good read for children and I definitely liked it. ( )

This book has not received any awards. PreK to 2nd grade would enjoy looking at the pictures and for older students they can make a dialog for either the main character or for the tiger or they can make and alternate ending for the book by illustrations. this book is about a little boy that goes to sleep and dreams of following a tiger through the jungle and sees all the exotic animals on his journey. the issue of getting home and of dreaming and using your imagination. in a classroom younger students can draw their own dreams or can make dialog with the older students.

The book, "Jungle Walk" is a wonderful and creative book for teachers to have in their library. This book has no words, so it us up to the students to decide how the story should be written. This book would be a great tool when teaching students to write. The students can take the pictures and make up a story accordinly. ( )

Junglewalk is a cute story about a little boy that has a dream about all the different animals in the jungle. The story is very imaginitive meaning it's great for students' minds. ( )
