This is the one to read if you're squeamish about woodcutters. ( ) In this version Little Red Riding Hood is on her way to grandmothers. She stops to pick flowers for her grandmother when the big bad wolf and asked her where she was going. Little Red Riding Hood continued to grandmothers’ house and when she arrived the wolf was in grandmothers’ bed and grandmother was in the closet. Then a woodcutter saves both Little Red Riding Hood and grandmother. This book had great pictures. All the pictures were appropriate. This is an old fashion fairy tale. I read this book as a child and I feel children should continue to read it so that people don’t forget about such a great story. I would have the students sit in a circle and after reading this book to them ask them what they know they should not or should do when they are approached by strangers. Then I would have them write down or draw a picture of what Little Red Riding Hood should have done when the Big Bad Wolf approached her. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
