I liked the book because of its informational plot. The book is written without vowels, but as each child is born, the family becomes more complete. This helps teach children vowels because as each vowel is added to the book, it is capitalized and written in colored ink. For example, when Allan is born, the letter "A" is added into the words and in each word, it is colored blue. However, I felt that the language of this book was too difficult. The book would only be successful if an adult read it to his or her child because it is impossible for children to read properly at times. Without vowels, it is simply a book filled with gibberish. It may be appropriate for children that understand vowel concepts, but I still did not enjoy the language. Overall, the idea of this book is to teach children different vowel combinations, with a focus to keep them giggling the entire time. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
