Andrea's summer hasn't started out well: Rick, her first love, has just broken up with her, and her parents are having problems in their marriage. Andrea's mom sends her to her scary Aunt Madelyn's house in Palm Beach, Florida for a month so mom and dad can work things out together. As soon as Andrea arrives at Aunt Madelyn's, she finds they're going to the Bahamas - but on a business trip! The business trip quickly morphs into a murder mystery complete with a fantastic archaeological treasure. Will Andrea and Aunt Madelyn get back to Florida safely? What about the treasure?

I really enjoyed this fast-paced mysetery. The characters are all very well written, the lush setting is beautifully described, and you'll keep wondering until the end just what is going to happen. (Lorna) ( )

Andrea didn't want to accompany her aunt and a group of privileged people on a boat trip to the Bahamas to look at a valuable artifact. But she's stuck there now, and angry when she realizes that this is a stolen artifact. All the adults want to own it, but Andrea knows it should be retumed to the Peruvian government. Then the object disappears... and someone is found murdered. Who will be next?
