Unfortunately, the remainder is illustrated by Romero, who has always made Modesty too glamorous, and Willie too much like all his other male studs. "Idaho George" and "Yellowstone Booty" are worthy stories, but my favorite was "The Golden Frog", which finally shows us the martial arts master Saragam, who taught Modesty early in her career and became her friend. Fun. The first one, Idaho George, is amusing - particularly the con man way out of his depth and declaring it at every opportunity. Nice to see Saragam again (another echo from the books, I think) in the second (The Golden Frog), though the 'choice' was really no choice - anyone who knows Modesty would know the answer. And the third - Yellowstone Booty - is interesting but slight. Nice to have someone else save Willie for a change, though the amnesia was very much a plot contrivance. The battle itself was fun. None of them are favorites, all are good. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
