It's amazing how difficult it is to find a book about William III (at least in the US) - despite very significant role that king played in English history. It was under his rule that balance between king and parliament was finally established. I was looking for some biographical work and, unfortunately, this book is not the one. It is very academic research into the causes behind William III's influences on English history. It still is interesting but very dry and doesn't present William's personal portrait.
