Once there was a man named (as far as Wikipedia knows), Frederick Faust. He was a writing machine of Asimov proportions, dispensing who-dunnits under various pen-names, and westerns under the name of Max Brand. The Cream of his efforts, in my opinion, was the Two Rennaissance Adventure stories, he wrote under the name of George Challis. In this one, Tizzo our Perugian hero, confronts the master evil guy of the Italian peninsula, Cesare Borgia. All fans of the Horseclans should read this book to see what inspired schlock fiction can be! I've read this'un three times. Someone should reprint them...Hey! got that number for HBO productions? there's lots of costumes that can be rented cheap from various Henry VIII productions, or "the Borgias" come to think of it.
