They can recognize the different animals in the classroom and they can also learn about germs and how important it is to be clean for themselves and others. ( )

The Franks caused their classmates to get sick, and even though the other classmates knew where the germs came from, they couldn't tell. Most of the students are very good about following these classroom procedures; however, the Frank twins are not because they never wash their hands. Eventually, several classmates become very sick, but Mrs. Jenkins does not understand why because she tells her students to wash their hands several times a day. None of the students want to tattle on the Frank twins; therefore, Mrs. Jenkins decides to get the help of Mr. Wagweed and one of her students named Fritz. Together, they build a germostat that finds the Frank twins to be the culprits.
I would read this book to students in kindergarten through third grade. A good time to read this is when students are learning about the importance of cleanliness. Also, it could be read on the first day of school because that is when class routines are taught, which includes cleanliness. ( )
