Verhaal van joodse partizanen tijdens WO II die van Rusland naar Italie trekken. Beoordeling: vlotte lectuur en soms realistisch verhaal, maar geen echte literaire hoogvlieger. Vooral naar het einde toe zwak. Het thema geeft wel mooi de existentialistische problematiek aan. En de karaktertekening is voor sommigen mooi uitgebalanceerd. ( )
