This is fantastic....a simple, easy to follow book about the value of quality foods, how to prepare and store ingredients, and a guide to the different choices of diet, and the pros and cons of each nutritionally.
I think this book is a great guide and reference as well as a great cookbook. It helps you to contemplate different foods in new ways you may not have or eaten with foods you may not have thought to mix it with or add it to.......a complete education, and easy to follow descriptions.
If whole foods or a plant based diet interest you, even just as a reference.....read this. You will not be disappointed. ( )

Beautiful book to base some Gluten Free recipes on but not all in the book are Gluten Free. It is just great that the author was trained at Bastyr and guides us through their knowledge. It does concern me that the book still recommends the use of soy products. ( )
