He is successful in this for a while and eats one animal per day for dinner. It isn't until a Hare decides something needs to change that the lion gets a taste of his own medicine. The Hare tricks the lion into thinking there is a second lion around that is stealing his food. The lion feels threatened and wants to find the other lion and settle the issue. The Hare leads the lion to a well and, seeing his own reflection in the water, the lion jumps down to fight and ends up drowning. The other animals go on to live happily. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
