Her new client was devilishly handsome, superbly charming...and absolutely hiding something. Why else would a man as rich and powerful as Cristo Verón have any interest in the cleaning services of lowly Isabelle Browne? Her suspicions were confirmed when she discovered his real reason for hiring her. And suddenly, she was agreeing to a preposterous proposition.... A sweet story, though I did find myself becoming somewhat irritated over the timeline. It may be time for me to take a break from these Harlequins for a few days.

I liked both the hero and heroine. I expected the hero to take longer to come around or to act like more of a jerk, but in the end I was satisfied with his behavior. ( )

Wasn't really feeling it. Felt more tell than show, if you know what I mean. Short book though, so maybe not enough time for plot resolution? ( )

While I enjoyed parts of it, I felt there was very little character development for both of the protagonists. Everything got explained away in less than a paragraph. Though, this is probably due to the length of the book more than the author not giving her characters any depth. I am looking forward to the sequel because I really enjoyed the protagonist of that book in this one. ( )

Typical series romance. However, it did avoid some of the big cliches -- the big misunderstanding, the hero's conniving mother, etc. ( )
