I am not sure if I like it but I don't hate it. The characters are not easy to like but I'm curious to see how it plays out. The author is constantly challenging the idea of marriage and what it truly means to be in a marriage. What are the roles of a husband and wife. What if it isn't a traditional marriage where love doesn't come first? Moving on to the next book in this 10 volume set! ( ) Eh. This manga came very highly recommended to me, but I'm not exactly sure why. I didn't like either of the two main characters; Hokuto is a jerk (which seems to be typical in these kind of stories) and Chiwa is a blushing virgin. Yawn. And the gender stereotypes are so pronounced it's sickening; Hokuto is a big shot executive who doesn't have the time to clean his house, so Chiwa has to be the one who does the cleaning. And Chiwa's father seriously almost sold her into sexual slavery. WTF. It really feels like a Harlequin novel for a manga audience. I won't be reading the rest of the series. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
