The ornaments in the attic are used to a family Christmas every year. When one year noone comes to get them out of the attic they start to lose hope, until the realize that they have everything they need to have a Christmas of their own. This Christmas is not the same without the children. They eventually hear footsteps coming up the staris and realize that they will have a family Christmas again. This is a great book for story time around Christmas. ( )
