It was pretty predictable that something bad would have happened to either Pop or Kevin. I did not see Pop dying to be part of the storyline but it ties up neatly to the end, although I felt that it was a bit rushing (but that's my opinion anyway) There are small reference to Cujo. I haven't read that so that maybe next on my list! It's still not a bad read to read this before bedtime.
