(Not gonna try to review this in Latin.) This book is a "roller coaster" progression from car to train to boat and as such maximally relevant to Emmett's current interests, the eggs and ham being essentially ballast. This one is even better than the English one because probably his second main interest right now after human conveyances is foreign languages--he's actually learning some German, be still my heart! and this is all the Latin he's likely to get any time soon so he's not gonna learn that but hearing the sounds and absorbing the structures cannot fuckin' hurt, dude. ( )
