Follow his color dog about blue dog this one is still good but falls flat. George wants to travel through New Orleans and its culture by way of blue dog and who his friends are. It just scratches the surface of New Orleans culture and history. It talks a little about his art and then moves into thing like jazz with Louis Armstrong and Mardi Gras. Then the book goes back to talking about blue dog and Geroge's artwork. The book does not seem to have a fluid idea or plot to it in anyway. It is a short and sweet book about New Orleans but falls a bit short at the potential this book could have had. ( )
