Maggie, owner of Images art gallery, isn't happy when her friend starts pushing her and a construction foreman together. But couple decide to see where things take them, assuming that the other will break things off eventually. But that doesn't happen! ( ) Maggie has had a privileged upbringing but runs her own business. A personal issue means that she is coerced into helping out with the building of a home for a family in need. There is immediate attraction between herself and the project leader, Josh. There are challenges in their relationship, in the project, with their families and in the running of her business. This is really a story about people from two different classes coming together - the rich and the poor. It does use a lot of cliches to make the point but cuts through quite a few too. There is a threat to Maggie which is not wholly believable but provides the opportunity for the two main characters to come together a lot. Entertaining and not as superficial as it could have been. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

HTML: There's a fine line between desire and disaster. At least, that's what improper Southern belle Maggie Forsythe thinks when she' unceremoniously dumped by a fiance even her mother approved of. Maggie has never cared what anyone thinks, so why is she hiding away from her South Carolina Low Country home? Then an intervention by friends shows her she has options. Lots of them! And one includes a man who can make her forget all about being jilted. But one look at Maggie convinces project foreman Josh Parker that he's corn bread to her caviar. Sure, they have enough sparks to ignite a bonfire, but growing up broke has made him wary of sweet-tea-swilling debutantes. So why is he suddenly singing "Tea for Two"? .
