- David Bellingham gained a degree in Latin with Classical Achaeology at the University of Birmingham, and did his PhD on ancient Roman wall-painting. He lectures on Greek mythology at St. Mary's College, Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, and on Greek and Roman Art and Architecture for the London University Extra-Mural Department. David also tutors for Open University and leads tours abroad to classical sites. He is the author of An Introduction to Greek Mythology.

My favorite thing about this book was how artifacts, famous paintings, and landscape photos were integrated into the myths. This really made the stories and the people who told them feel real.
