Some good info about being more mindful, but at times seems like a catalogue for all the different ways to meditate. It would have been more effective if the author had chosen just a couple to focus on.

If you think, "I'm not an angry person, I don't need to read this book," wait! This book is about a lot more than just anger. It explains the concept of Mindfulness and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, - something that we could all use
I learned a lot of useful practices but the most important thing I learned was that "being angry at your anger does not help."
The Practice exercises were great, particularly bringing the exercises into daily life. I will really cherish this book.

This book is composed of one hundred practices designed to be accomplished in the morning, that take only five minutes each, and that help one to be calm and relaxed throughout the day.

This is a highly recommended, and very popular, book for those who wish to learn ways of reducing and controlling their anxiety. Brantley teaches his readers about the body's fear system, and how they can get it under better control by treating themselves compassionately, and living more mindfully. Includes meditation exercises, examples, and a list of other resources.
