- Over mijn bibliotheek
I maintain a collection of about 4,000 volumes across two locations. Most are political history and Marxist theory, food, LGBTQ and healthcare subjects, with growing sections of fiction and verse by queer and BIPOC writers. I am manually logging my books one by one in order to re-acquaint myself with this collection of books, and also to help assess priority for digitizing historical, out-of-print items in this collection for personal use and lending.
- Over mij
- I am socialist, a healthcare worker, and a former working chef who also supported myself as a librarian throughout the 1980s and 1990s, as many US libraries came online. I am an avid fan of networked small personal and organizational libraries and book collections.
