I'm starting Darcie Wilde's The Secret of the Lost Pearls.
11LadyoftheLodge
I finished reading The Latke Who Couldn't Stop Screaming by Lemony Snickett which is just as silly as I remembered it. I liked it better this time around. It is sort of a take-off on the story of the runaway pancake or little gingerbread man.
12rabbitprincess
Finished The Stone, by Nigel Tranter. Next up is likely Bookshops and Bonedust, by Travis Baldree.
13Helenliz
Finished Electra by Sophocles. now reading A Monster calls on paper.

Currently reading Night Without End, by Alistair MacLean.

I am reading a ghost story that I remember reading and loving many years ago. I was afraid Tryst by Elswyth Thane wouldn't hold up but I have been swept up in the romance of the story. I am also just starting Caroline, a book that revisits "The Little House on the Prairie" series through the eyes of the Mother.
22JayneCM
I am reading all the short books/short stories/graphic novels that I have left until the holiday season. Otherwise I wouldn't get much done in December as I tend to be reading in between so many other activities. The reading gets done in short bursts!
Still will not reach my overly ambitious target though! :(

I very much enjoyed here at the end of the world we learn to dance by the author of Mr Pip like that novel I loved the idea of the book, and basically swallowed it over a day..... until towards the end when both get very weird. I had trouble keeping track of the time and place as we went along, but both are very well written, and I plan to read some more by him 4*
28Helenliz
Finished Monstrous regiment and then A Monster Calls.
Can't remember who caught me with a bullet on that second one, but it was excellent.
Not sure what's up next on paper.
Still listening to The Art of Dying
