Eh, I lost interest about 2/3 of the way through. Can't even remember anything about the stories writing this 2 months later. ( )

People came to the hotel because they wanted to be scared, or because they didn't believe they would ever be scared. They came because they thought maybe their dead loved ones were here and wanted to speak to them one final time, to ask them if they were forgiven, or to tell them they hadn't forgotten. Sometimes they came out of ignorance because they didn't know anything about the hotel, and sometimes they came because they had been pulled here, without knowing why, had been drawn to this place.

Fifteen intertwined stories about a hotel that was built on cursed land in the Fens. A farmer’s wife was drowned as a witch long before the hotel was built on the farmland, but there was darkness present in that place long before her death. Such interesting stories, and great narrators. ( )
