Anna Carey (1) (1982–)

Wow! I’m shocked. I was not expecting this to be good but it most definitely was. It’s a plot that is fairly uncommon in YA so that added a new level of interest for me. The ending was so open (I was like, “really, it ended?”) but also satisfying if that makes sense.

Clean with the exception of minimal swearing.
FYI, the second book isn’t clean.

Disappointed in this one after the really good start to the series. The ending was unsatisfying and I was hoping the story would be wrapped up. Instead, it would appear that it was prepped for a third book.
Also, I don’t like that the couple fell into bed with each other.
If I’m right about a third book, I won’t be continuing with it.

Great plot twist

Fun book, fast read. Interesting plot, different from others I have read. Drew me to wanting to read the next in the series. Fell in love with main characters and enjoyed the suspense.
