It's really fun to dive into the TMNT universe again. But what I'm NOT looking forward to is Sophie Campbell - she can't draw faces. At all. Yuck.

The main story was great in this I thought, the mini-series were good for showcasing other characters, but kind of fillers for the series overall. Interested to see where this series is head now. It's not at all like the 80s cartoon, but that a good thing.
Out of all the IDW TMNT collections thus far, I think this is the best one yet. It doesn't feature the spin-offs. I'm not really a fan of the spin-offs as much, but they are need for the story. This volume also has a lot of conflict building up. Not sure way, but feels like this finally as a good story building up.
I didn't really like the annual story in this or the micro backups, but I did like the main story.
