The implications behind this story are VERY sad but the art is beautiful and the story was lovely to read!!!
The book is a pretty good book about change in family living situations and I could kind of relate to it in the sense I ended up moving to live with my aunt when I was 3 years old.
This book is about a little girl named lily who has to move to live with her grandma because something happened to or with her parents. Lily has her reservations about moving away from the area she knew so her grandma made it a game to find ten beautiful things throughout their trip to grandmas house. On the trip, they point out things like sunsets, birds, old barns, and in the end grandma's house. The game served as a distraction from what Lily might be thinking and helps pass the time.… (meer)

Such a beautiful and simple story. Lily is going for a long car ride with her gram, while in the car Lily gets bored so Gram tells her to find 10 beautiful things. This gives a good perspective into life, that it is not all dreary but that there is beauty everywhere you just need to look.
