I tried getting my nephew (who was newborn when I received this book originally) and a few family friends to take interest in the book & the activities. No-go. Not a single one of them was interested. :/

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I find it difficult to categorize this book. I believe that it suffers from trying to achieve too much with too little. I believe that if parents used the questions as a jumping-off point for framing further activities and conversation with their children that this text would prove itself useful, but as is, it's largely just frustrating.

I received this book through the Librarything.com's Early Reviewer giveaway. This book is about making smart choices at the grocery store/market. I found it to be too advanced for the younger children who are the target market. I was disappointed in it, and will probably not keep it.

As others have noted this book is very short, with pictures and then questions to ask your child about the pictures. There isn't a lot of content but this book is useful to put you in the mindset of asking about storybooks instead of just reading them. I'm an elementary school librarian and these questions are exactly the sort of thing to ask to get kids thinking critically.
