As a college sophomore when I read this, it really made sense - I tried reading it in high school, and didn't really get it.

I was looking forward to read this book, but now that I finished it I'm kind of disappointed. Most of these stories are the typical feel-good, not quite realistic stories you'd expect from an inspirational book. Sure they may have real-life meaning, but the stories themselves are mostly emotional fabrications

Although there are a few stories that focus on more serious topics such as death, terminal illness, mental illness or substance abuse most of the problems that the teens write about are very petty and shallow. If you have lived an extremely sheltered life, you might like this book. Otherwise, don't waste your time or money on this book. I'm just glad that I borrowed it from the library.

This is great a great book just like the others chicken soup books it is very inspirational an it is definitely nice to read, sometimes it even helps with your own problems.

Chicken soup for the teenage soul 2 is a book with many inspiring stories. There are many sections on where you can learn new things and discover too. Some things in this book are really sad while others may be happy. many stories are short with great messages. some stories really keep your spirits up and make you feel great. the book has so many awesome stories you'll love.
This book was really good. the stories had perfect imagery. I could see everything. I gave this 5 stars because I love it lots. I would have never thought people could have gone through such horrible things. I feel like the stories are really inspirational and help readers be more confident about themselves.

The Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul is a great book with many touching stories that will inspire people around the world. This book is filled with many touching stories that are in many aspects of a teen's life such as puberty, romance, and friendship just to name a few. Many morals or life lessons can be learned from this book and you can be sure to cry at least once because some of these stories are just that touching to the heart. This book is a couple of hundred pages long and the stories are each a couple of pages long. This book has multiple sections with each section having a theme such as friendship. This organizes the book in a way such that you can read stories about what you want to read though it is still preferable to read the entire book from left to right. All in all, this book is phenomenal and I would recommend this book to anyone.

I really don't care for any of the Chicken Soup books, but I got this as I gift. I have read three of them, and it seems that they are all the same.

The problem with the Chicken Soup collection is that after the first one or two, they start to all seem the same. The quotes dispersed between stories/poems/whatever are repeated in nearly every book. Now, as a lover of a good quote, I find myself eager for some variation. Also, with the exception of Chicken Soup For The Pet Lover's Soul, the stories become very similar, it's just basically a hundred different variations of the same book.

None of them are bad, but one or two is sufficient.

I'm in my third year now and I read this in my freshman year. This is the first inspirational book I've read and it really helped me adjust in college.

The stories were well chosen that it helps the reader understand how college life works. It helped me realize that its not all about projects, deadlines, studying, quizzes, assignments, and exams, that it can be fun and enjoyable too.

It especially helped me loosen up the tension and pressures I'm experiencing during my first year.

All in all, I can say that it's really a good book. :))

A collection of wonderful (true) accounts of overcoming a challenge. God does work in mysteries ways.

I LOVED IT=) ALL THE POETRY AND WORDS OF INSPIRATION IS DEFINITELY A KEEPSAKE.
