I received this book from the Early Reviewers a few weeks ago, and I'm totally ripped now. Well... not really. But this book does do a great job of explaining how to organize your fitness regimen, the importance of diet and general nutrition, and the importance of balance in your exercise routine. I have started integrating several of the recommended workouts into my normal routine, and I'm pleased with the results.

Probably not a coffee table book unless you're really into looking at shredded abs though!… (meer)

This is a wonderful book for strength and fitness. My husband and I worked through this book and love the straight talk on proper dieting exercise and no nonsense talk about how to get and stay in shape. There are plenty of pictures and descriptions in this book that you will be able to get into this body training program and stay in shape.

I would highly recommend this to anyone including women who'd like to get and stay in shape!

I have been working out 5-6 days a week for the last 3 or so years, but always with videos. This was the first book I've really looked at to give me other ideas for working out. I enjoyed some of the exercises and appreciated the information within the book.

There were a lot of exercises that require significant weights that I don't have so I wasn't able to fully benefit from the book's descriptions. Overall, however, I found the the book worthwhile and have used it from time to time for quick workouts on the go.… (meer)
