I was expecting to like this book a lot more than I did. Although the illustrations are and the conservative approach of the theology are what attracted me, I was disappointed with the book. The Ology of God is redundant.
It would be interesting to get a child's perspective on this book Because as an adult I found the illustrations and text rather simple but dense. Most of the concepts I did read about are far better illustrated by simply learning about the Bible stories and their application over and over again with someone who understands them. I would not want to go back to this book as it is too didactic.… (meer)
