Judy Smith was born and educated in South Africa, where she studied at the University of the Witwatersrand. She came to England in advertising for 5 years. Judy began practising yoga in the early 1970s to correct her posture and, after having children, trained as a Teacher at the Iyengar Yoga toon meer Institute in Maida Vale, London, qualifying in 1989 toon minder
