I first read this book while I was studying for my masters in religious studies at JFK University (National University) in the 1990's. I had also listened to tapes of these conferences which I was able to check out from the theology library in Berkeley. Even now, some thirty years later, I find them to be of great interest, especially as I have continued to seek out the contemplative way at this time of my life. It includes many well known teachers, among them: David Steindl-Rast, Thomas Keating, ChoghamRinpoche, Tessa Bielecki,William McNamara, the Dalai Llama to name a few.… (meer)
