Over mijn bibliotheek: Interests: ghost stories, supernatural, spooky, humor, cozy, mystery, quirky, weird, travel, mystical, adventure, spiritual.

For the last few years, I've been on a deep, deep dive into classic ghosts stories that were once popular, then fell into obscurity, and are being rediscovered and republished again. Love Algernon Blackwood, M. R. James, Amyas Northcote, Jerome K. Jerome, Lord Dunsany, L. T. C. Rolt, A. M. Burrage, Edith Nesbit, Edith Wharton, Amelia Edwards, Charlotte Riddell, Daphne Du Maurier, etc. Recently read Anne Rivers Siddons' House Next Door and can't get that brain worm out of my head. Will read current authors as well. Loved Ruth Ware's Turn of the Key and two Lucy Foley novels despite the fact that her characters are not very likeable. Had to keep reading anyway.

Also enjoy a good cozy mystery, especially if it is anchored in a holiday. Mysteries in general, but not if they are about political intrigue. Love puzzles.

Interested in spiritual books, Buddhism, animism, Tao, Wiccan, Native American, -- all good if it teaches balance and harmony of mind and respect for nature.
