I obsessively collect books and I never discriminate concerning genre, cover art, or title. I'd like to think that I'll read and try anything once and I always try to keep this statement in mind. Ever since I was very small, I wanted to have a room in my home, which house my growing collection of books with tall shelves that hid any indication that a wall even stood there. My current piles and stacks of books I have now are in a sort of waiting period for me to go to college, graduate, and place them on shelves where they belong. (Placing personification onto books never sounded to creepy).
