Ah, the library has flowed out into a trailer in the back forty and partly recycled for new. I scan what is relevant and prioritize with e-filing and old fashion high density metal cabinets. The books I keep sprawl like highrises connected by plank walkways that lead the spritely Omnivores through a labyrinthine nocturnal foray to the darker sercrets of our water world. I'd swear-normally I don't- that the book marks on some have been maliciously rearranged or changed to indicate material I had overlooked that would be germane to the answers I continually seek. I prefer the later and have taken them up, grudgingly at first, as my quides, who believe that alot of what I go through is silly. Just listen to your heart I hear and this city scape of words will melt away and give you space to move around! For fun I read everything-classics, biography, fantasy, science fiction..last winter read Ken Follets' Pillars of the Earth and World without End-Just began Robin Hobbs' The Farseer trilogy-I love Charles Dickens and there is definately his influence here-an intelligent fantasy that allows for depth of character and intricate plot weaving..

I am currently involved in writing-seriously-cough, cough, as though what I've been doing for last twelve years wasn't,a shift of the ages opus which finds me entering into worlds more fantastic then I ever imagined which in turn given my own predilection for -going where no man has ever gone-has sent me catapaulting through dimensions of time and space. I am fortunate enough to be doing this in a small cabin in the crease twix two mountains with plenty of winter to massage this extremely guiltless pleasure and to keep myself grounded in a time of cataclysmic upheaval..
