I love Tasha Tudor (hmph, no touchstone) so much that I'm always looking for other fans and doing my best to introduce people to her wonderful books and amazing life. Is anyone else a fan? Which of her books are your favorites? I love them all, but my very favorite is A Time to Keep. My son loves Corgiville Fair, and I just started reading 1 Is One to my baby daughter. The books written about Tasha's life are wonderful, too, with lots of lovely pictures--I think Drawn From New England is the best, but I also like The Private World of Tasha Tudor.

I took my little nieces to a used bookstore recently. My younger niece found a Tasha Tudor illustrated book and stopped looking further. She hugged it to herself and later looked for it whenever she was in the house. I just got a copy of The Tasha Tudor Book of Fairy Tales. I also ordered the Tasha Tudor illustrated A Child's Garden of Verses and A Time to Keep: the Tasha Tudor Book of Holidays

Tasha Tudor's Mother Goose was the very first book I ever received. I was 2 months old. It is the very germ of my library, and I have always loved it.
