Was wondering, since we all like books, but LT don't have a feature that lets us showcase our faves, what is your fave book? Fave author?

Mine is Retief and the Warlords by Keith Laumer

followed very closly by Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck by Don Rosa.

and finally The Hitchhicker's Trilogy by Douglas Adams

Those are mine, what about yours?

Actually, I've used LT for just that: to post my 50 favorite SF/F books in my library. Go check my library at SF Girl. I've catalogued 50 books there, each one a favorite. :)

p.s. and, oh, my all time favorites are probably the classics like Fahrenheit 451; I, Robot; Childhood's End; Brave New World...now I can't stop! Go check my catalogue at nina.sfgirl :)

Stephen King's novels are always gripping, but the old Ray Bradbury stories were awesome. There was one short story called Jefty is Five. It was about this creepy boy who wouldn't get any older.
