potential corporate author? need guidance

Good day. Inquiring about this work:
https://www.librarything.com/work/10809128

In my library, I have this listed under author Jackie Zorovich (https://www.librarything.com/author/zorovichjackie) but it is missing the green check mark so I've been investigating to determine why. Seems most people have this listed under a corporate author (https://www.librarything.com/author/zoku). Though I understand why some have selected the corporate author, since Jackie's name is on the cover of the book, I went with using Jackie as the author.

My question is this - is there a right or wrong way to do this? or what is most appropriate? I'll happily edit my book (as it seems I'm in the minority), but just wondering if there is any official guidance on this?

>1 chocorua: I recalculated the author and now it shows as Jackie Zorovich. I also added the other author.

>1 chocorua: Zoku is the publisher not the author. You are correct to have the author listed, although there is another.

Authors: Jackie Zorovich, Kristina Sacci
Publisher: Zoku

See Worldcat's entry for the "right" way to do it.

Don't worry about what others on LT do, especially given many users aren't choosing metadata they are just accepting whatever the data source imports, which is often incorrect.

ETA: I also corrected the second author's name from Kristin Sacci to Kristina Sacci

Thank you, both for the assistance and guidance on this. Never thought to go by what worldcat.org does, but makes good sense to me, will definitely utilize this resource more going forward. Also didn't know that two authors could be added. Not new to LibraryThing, but new to putting more effort into making my entries better and correcting what I did incorrectly in the past. Typically in the past, if I saw more than one author, I'd list them on the 'edit your book' page in the Other Authors section when entering the book (though I may have missed this one). Is that the correct way, or am I missing something?

>4 chocorua: There are two levels of "Other Authors":
- On the book edit screen - these are in your book record only
- Confirming them on the work page - these are on the work level so everyone sees them on their copy.

As a rule you first add them to your copy and then confirm them on the work page (only you can change your own record; the work page confirmation can be done by anyone).

>3 Taliesien: Whoops, thanks for fixing! I just confirmed what was there but I should have double-checked the spelling.

>7 chocorua: Anytime.

Keep in mind that the work level will have the combination of everyone’s other authors. So there will be multiple translators for example even if you have the original or one of the translations. The coauthors will be shared by all copies of the book (so they get confirmed as “all editions” on the work level). Translators will be confirmed as “some editions”. Your own copy will have yours; the full work will have them all. Confirming also puts the book in the author’s page - which is why you want to confirm them generally :)
