Found: Shy Black Woman With Eating Disorder

Found: I am trying to find a book I previously read when I was a teenager. I do not remember the title, book cover, or much about the plot. I think I read this book in 2015. The main character was a shy black woman who worked in a printing shop or greeting card shop. She had an eating disorder and she would often forget to eat. She didn’t seem to have much of a life and often walked miles to work then home. I don’t think she had any friends or family and was an introvert. Her coworker was an outspoken Jamaican girl. The mc meets this guy I think his name was Nicholas when he came to her job. He helped her break out of her shell and helped her gain weight. They would visit different restaurants since he was new to the area I believe. She had started to become more outspoken as their relationship progressed. I do remember that her eating habits wasn’t the main point of the book but it is all I remember. I don’t remember what he did for work. At the end of the book I believe she ended up starting her own business making greeting cards. I think the book was written by a black woman I do not remember her name. I don’t remember much about this book but have been looking for months any help would be appreciated. The book was published in America.
