This book had the potential to be one of the best MC books that I have read. However, there were so many different things going on that it was hard to concentrate on which direction to go in. There was Cassidy with her past that she is running from, there was the friend and her "brother", there was the past and his little twist of what he really liked, there was Chance and his past with his father, the military/ex-girlfriend, the MC stuff, and the mystery with the Mayor's wife. I just needed it toned down and it would have been really really good. I was sucked in from the first chapter because this author does have an amazing writing style.
I will still look for more from this author in the future. (
