In which is narrated the manoeuvreing which led to the emergence of a second major baseball league at the dawn of the last century, together with a timeline fueled narrative of the highlights of the league's on field action during 1901. The author writes well, and the book is pretty well edited, though a few mangled names and eccentric mathematics do creep in. I can't imagine that many general readers would find the book particularly interesting, but it's a solid choice for fans of baseball's deadball era.. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
