While emigrating to the United States, a young Russian mouse gets separated from his family and must relocate them while trying to survive in a new country. An immigrant mouse is separated from his family. 2/4 (Indifferent). That's a Very Long 80 Minutes. It's too poorly developed for adults, and too heavy and serious for kids. Reading some trivia about it gives me the impression that the target audience was What Nostalgic Boomers Wanted Their Kids To Like - a movie made for merchandise and ticket sales, not to entertain its audience. A young mouse named Fievel and his family decide to migrate to America, a "land without cats," at the turn of the 20th century. But somehow, Fievel ends up in the New World alone and must fend off not only the felines he never thought he'd have to deal with again but also the loneliness of being away from home.
