Ms. Hickman, a tantalizing storyteller, has a gift for creating dynamic suspense, captivating characters, sharp dialogue, and sultry intimacy which sweeps readers into the story. I appreciated how the author sensitively wrote about the emotional and physically journey of Donetta, a trans woman.

I would like to spend a few hours in her head so I can get the inside scoop before it’s written. Like I shared with a fellow reviewer – Trice Hickman has a gift of giving readers different levels of drama that keeps them on the edge of their seats. There’s never a dull moment in this novel.
