{My thoughts} - Jake and Molly are two mice on a mission. They have left their family nest at Deli Dan’s and are searching for their new home. They are looking for a special place to live that is mostly safe and will keep them well fed and hungry. They have been searching quite a bit and finally come upon P.S. 42, a public elementary school.

Once they located the school they both needed to get inside to look around. Molly got in easily and Jake well he got to go on a crazy adventure, while he was trying to get inside. While Molly is inside the school waiting for Jake she wanders around and eventually comes upon Gino a class pet of the school. Gino and Molly become best friends almost immediately, but there are secrets about Gino that that get revealed throughout the book.

I really enjoyed reading this book and I think that children could enjoy it as well. It is full of adventure with animals and it is face paced for the most part, so it’s a quick read. I also liked how this book was dropping realistic facts within the story so that it can also help to teach the children that read it some new information. It’s always been fun to me to learn new and interesting facts about the world we live in. To this day I am still learning more and more things.

I highly recommend this book for any child that loves animals and are interested on going on a crazy yet, fun adventure with them.

{My Thoughts} – Dexter is the new class gerbil in Miss Clark’s Class. It’s his very first day in the classroom and he manages to escape from his cage. He ends up running behind a bookshelf and squeezing into a hidden hole into the wall. Once he gets through the hole he meets Jake and Molly.

Jake and Molly feel for Dexter so they decide to help him. They play a game I guess you called call it called Survival School. Jake and Molly try their best to teach him how to survive without being cared for by a human. This is difficult for Dexter though because he has only ever been cared for by humans.

They go on a pretty interesting adventure in this book, just like the previous two. And of course the adventure wouldn’t be complete without a visit from Big Grey again. If you want to know exactly what happens you’ll need to read the book. I am sure if you enjoyed the first two that you will enjoy this one as well.

I really enjoyed this book and how it was about friendship. Mainly, it focused around the survival of friendship and the love one has for their family. I am sure that any child that enjoys reading about adventures and closeness to one’s family with some added animals as the characters for entertainment reasons, could get a lot out of this book. It’s well written as are the previous two and it’s a very nice story that I found really enjoyable.

{My Thoughts} – Molly and Jake had decided it was a good idea to make P.S. 42 their new home. They had enjoyed their first night. They liked all the other animals that lived in the school and decided it was time to make the wall that they’d chosen to live in more home like to them. That meant that it was time for them to build some nests so that they’d both have a soft, cozy and wonderful place to rest when they wanted to sleep.

In the previous book Jake had a run in with a cat named Big Grey. Big Grey comes back again to help liven the story within the book. Jake ends up going on another adventure thanks to Big Grey and ends up getting trapped inside a bottle. The question is, “Will Jake get free?” or “Will he become kitty chow?” The only way to find out is to read the book.

Jake finds out that Big Grey is out to get him, and now has to worry about the fallback for the choices he made that involved the car. Molly and the other animals work on the nests and by the end of the book…. Naw, I’m not going to tell you what happens, what fun would that be?

I really enjoyed this book, it is a great addition to the first. I like how it continued right where the last one had left off, but this one is more geared on friendship and acceptance then the last one was. I love how there is always something new that can be learned by reading a book!
